Visiting the mountains has a very deep meaning for us. It is not simply about going out for a run or a hike. Visiting the mountain means living with it, adapting to its rhythms and demands, facing its risks consciously, welcoming its power and majesty. Visiting the mountain is not just a way of doing, it is a way of being. And the way of being is not taught, it is something very personal, unique to each individual. But how, then, can we teach it? If it is true that our actions determine who we are, maybe we are able to share this very small part of ourselves, and perhaps even teach it.

FIEMME MOUNTAIN ACADEMY

What is it?

This is the time and space in which we would like to create moments of sharing dedicated to mountain running, an increasingly widespread discipline that cannot exist if not without the sacred territory hosting it. Fiemme Mountain Academy is a training camp, aimed at those who love skyrunning and wish to deepen their knowledge of its techniques and values. It will not only be a place for technical learning, but also a chance for personal growth.

What will you learn?

We will not only deep dive into tech-topics such as the running technique, the use of equipment, proper nutrition, and training planning. We will also try to convey the importance of the sacrifice required to achieve one's goals, developing a greater awareness of oneself and one's potential.

Why do we do it?

More and more people are discovering the benefits of mountain running and, within this trend, it is important for us to pass on what we have learnt from it: respect, responsibility, and a sense of community, fundamental values for those who choose to live and practise sport in natural environments of such beauty and fragility. We like the idea of being able to contribute to developing a sports movement that leads people to experience the relationship between man and the mountains in a more conscious and sustainable way.

WEEKEND CAMP

Next step: this two-day camp is designed to give you a practical introduction to mountain running, with a special focus on skyrunning.

Together with the technical staff and national coaches from FISKY (the Italian Skyrunning Federation), we will delve into the heart of the discipline: not just theory, but hands-on experience in the field.

We will focus on:

  • uphill and downhill running technique, to help you move more effectively and safely

  • proper use of equipment – often underestimated but essential

  • a personalised analysis of your running, to improve your posture, efficiency and feel, and prevent injuries

One step at a time, to help you feel more confident on the trails and more at one with the mountains.

Dates
4–5 July 2026 | Passo Lavazè

Who is it for?

Suitable for beginners and intermediate runners. Even those who already run can learn something new.

Would you like to join us?

Registration will open soon on our website.

"The mountain is not just snow and cliffs, ridges, streams, lakes, pastures. The mountain is a way of living life. One step in front of the other, silence, time and measure."
